This article on the traditional method of growing wild blueberries in Maine - FIRE! but in a more sustainable, healthy way for the soil health and the harvest.

Here’s a great demonstration how flammable vapors can burn in the air (but in this case, not ignite the plant emitting the airborne fuel). Super neat.

This description of the approach to wildfire, planting, and managing our native CA open spaces is the one I most admire. I wish they’d do more and push this view more.

I’ve read that a wildfire can burn up to 3,000 degrees….. thought the information on what happens to a human body at much lower temperatures was a useful benchmark in nerdiness as a comparison.
